The Team

Teresa: Teresa is the Business Manager. She joined Windmills as a Parent Trustee during the time that her daughter was at Windmills. She is currently working with the Staff, Volunteers and Trustess to coordinate the smooth running of the playgroup. Teresa has completed her Level 3 qualification in Early Years.Teresa has three children, which takes up most of her free time, but she enjoys walking her dog Henry and planning holidays.

Cheryl: Cheryl joined Windmills in June  2018 and is our Room Leader. She has achieved a Level 3 qualification in Early Years foundation stage. Learning mentoring  & Solihull parenting support certificates of training & qualification. Cheryl has 9 years experience  working with children from 18 months to 11 years. She enjoys sensory messy play & imaginative role play. Listening to child initiated play & joining in to the children’s  play & learning. Helping children to achieve  in a happy, engaging & stimulating  environment remains  something Cheryl is incredibly passionate about.

Lisa M:Lisa joined Windmills in September 2011 and is a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner within the setting and has experience of working with children with all different needs . Lisa is a mum of two , when not working Lisa likes to travel and go to lots of 50s dances.

Laura: Laura worked as a Social Worker for children’s services for twelve years before taking a career break to start a family.  She joined Windmills in November 2017 and subsequently gained her Level 3 qualification in Early Years.  Laura finds working with children incredibly rewarding particularly the relationships that are formed, the trust that develops and teaching them via play-based learning.

Michelle: Michelle joined Windmills in February 2018 and has a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. She has 8 years experience working in a Montessori nursery. She enjoys doing craft and cooking activities with the children. She enjoys working with the children to help them acheive their full potential. Michelle has three children of her own which keeps her very busy and loves gardening, baking and going on camping holidays with friends and family.

Joseph: Joseph has successfully completed his Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship at Windmills and has become a permanent member of the team. Joseph enjoys all types of sport but especially enjoys going to the gym. Joseph also enjoys music  and films.

We are fortunate to have a team of volunteers who provide backup in the general running of the day-to-day timetable of Windmills. They are a valuable resource and we appreciate the time and experience they bring to the playgroup.
